My name is Christiane, I am a naturotherapist and nutritional coach. A few years back, while working as a landscaper, I noticed that my energy level was not up to par, so I therefor became quite interested in nutrition. I gradually changed my eating habits and regained my energy. As a bonus I also lost a few pounds. Following this success, I made nutrition my passion and turned it into a profession.

The goal of my program is to share with you the results of my research, so that you can also benefit from my findings. Weight loss and energy. Banish from your vocabulary that most dreaded word DIET.

Marie Christine Dean presents: Planetarium

Native to the Brome Lake region, Marie Christine Dean is a certified astrologer with a substantial experience base on the study of astrological theory and charts that have been carefully verified through real life practice.

She became engulfed by astrology at a very early age, and after many years of study and observation, she has developed a sufficiently reliable and proven methodology of interpretation that allows her to uniquely advise her clientele.

Since the beginning of her astrological career, Marie Christine has resolutely established as a guiding principle that our knowledge represent less that which appears to be obvious, and more that which is yet to be discovered threw observation and hard work. With time, the results she has achieved have quickly exceeded her aspirations, and today her discoveries reveal themselves constantly.

As an experience astrologer, Marie Christine recognizes the importance of acknowledging those who have helped her to develop her talent. Principally, Marie Christine owes a debt to Anne-Marie Chalifoux D.N. under whom she has studied and whose methodology and philosophy can be found in her own analytical approach.

Knowing full well that astrology does not exist to solely dictate the path one takes, but rather serves to illuminate that which may lie ahead. Marie Christine Dean believes that the practice of astrology allows us to prepare for the fates that await each and everyone of us.

So please join me every Monday morning at 8h00 am and at 18h30 for your astrology predictions on my weekly program Planetarium.

Living is a feat. Talking about it is something of an art.
Invited guests will talk about their life experiences, their professions, what they read, their family or social lives.
A fifteen-part series, organised by occupation, of the life of each guest evoking their years of training, their inspirations, the highs and occasional lows of their professional lives. We’ll follow them as they make chance encounters, we’ll discover the influences that determined their choices and the situations that helped form their careers.
A broadcast co-produced by Henri Laban and Francine C. Boivin, directed by Holly K. Bailey
This weekly emission on CIDI will be broadcast at 10 am each Saturday and repeated at 11 pm on Sundays.
Francine (or a different guest) will have read a book that struck her. She will try to communicate her enthusiasm to another participant. In no way will this be a literary review, rather a meeting of two friends who share the pleasures and surprises of reading.

“I accepted the challenge proposed by Henri Laban to discover and enjoy books and authors for the pleasure of reading, or re-reading, in the company of my two cats. We’ve agreed that my choices will include all genres; that I will express my personal points of view, without excluding any doubts or questions. After all, the series is called OPENINGS, so, I’m opening books, paths of thought…
It’s for you to see what you like, what makes you want to go further. And even to find answers to unanswered questions. Or to comment on our interaction. You have simply to write to us to talk!”

Hosted by Aurelien Guillory – An Interior Designer, Color Specialist and teacher. Aurelien has been practicing Interior Design for many years now throughout Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, New York & Florida.

A double major in Clinical Psychology & Beaux Arts from The University of Southwestern Louisiana (in Lafayette), has led him to develop what he calls…THE PSYCHOLOGICALLY SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT – This results in the design of unique color schemes and styles for his diverse clients.

Guillory previously hosted a TV series “HOMES BY DESIGN” for HGTV Boston and feels quite at home hosting his own radio show here at CIDI 99.1 FM.

LIVING COLOR! is a presentation of these experiences featuring practical tips on how to use “trendy” colors in a personalized way. Having been a home owner here in the townships since 1978, Guillory presents decorating tips that relate to the Townshipper’s point of view, with local sourcing when possible. Stay tuned for interviews with local artists & suppliers along with discussions on topics such as picture framing, draperies and how to personalize your home décor throughout the seasons.

Be listening for Aurel’s “Design Sleuth” Madame Greta von Schmedlapp, as she secretly reports on special events and talented people here and around the Townships.

Henry was born in the Czech republic terribly long ago, but has been a proud Canadian citizen since 1946 and a resident of Knowlton, Quebec since 2006, the year he retired from his profession. This was based on his PhD and MSc degrees in physics and chemistry and entailed some 15 years as a research scientist in industry, followed by a career in Academe.

He was research professor (Chem.Eng.) at l’Université de Montréal’s Ecole polytehnique and honorary research Fellow (Chem.) at McGill. He wrote gobs of scientific papers (over 230), holds 20 patents and even contributed to, or edited, 6 books. Lectures took him far a field (US, Sweden, France, England, Germany, Japan, Thailand, etc.), eventually tiring out both himself and his audiences (?). Consequently he now wastes time digging divots at golf courses, playing tennis (badly) skiing (pretty well) and organizing discussion groups, hosting Musical Entertainments, and presiding over Henry’s Music and Musings on CIDI.

Welcome to my page. I am Matteo Ortuso AKA Matt Elvis Jr. and I’m the host of “The Elvis Hour”. The show is all Elvis music, and trivia.

I have always been an old fashioned guy, loving the old music. My idol has always been Elvis Presley, because of what he did and what he stood for. His music has influenced me, as it has many others. I idolize Elvis Presley so much, I became an Elvis Presley Tribute Artist. I want to help all those, who try to keep Elvis alive forever, by continuing to share his music and messages with all those young and old.

Make sure to tune in to “The Elvis Hour” with me, Matt Elvis Jr. every Sunday at 7pm.

Philippe Duchesne, animateur de l’émission «Un Air De Rien» sur CIDI

Note biographique

Alan Eastley recently retired from the world of Information Technology in which he worked all his life. He is now happily settled in Knowlton where he discovered CIDI and community radio. Alan has always been a lover of classical music, and the opportunity to play music which he likes on local community radio was an opportunity too good to pass.

DJBLUES might be a new face and voice at CIDI 99.1 FM , but to say he is new to the game of music would be like saying Elvis lived a long and healthy life. Born and raised in Granby, this blues (retro rock) maniac lives for music. Jamming on the drums with his buddies Terry Ladd and John Cymbaluk in the 1960’s, he has been in the music business for over 35 years. Having attended hundreds of shows in his lifetime, he’s got love for many different genres of music . He has played drums in retro, rock and country bands over the last three decades.

I am glad that Maurice gave me the chance to spread my gospel of musical tastes to all the listeners at CIDI.

What can be said about Yvon Grondin, the Ivanator? A lot!

He’s been musically involved, since way back in 1963 when the Beatles first came out, with his twin brother Yves, aka The Sailor. They used to put on Beatle wigs and sing in schoolrooms and auditoriums back in Maine where they grew up.

Later on he learned how to play the guitar, performed in high-school bands and still plays to this day. He got into recording back in the late 70’s and now owns a modest recording studio in Bromont where he plays and records in the comfort of his own home. A phone call with Maurice Singfield, back in April, 2009, led him to join the CIDI production team that in turn led him to host his very own show, The Ivan Hour.

If you want to hear something with a little edge mixed with some harsh opinions, then I’ve got the show for you. Remember, you can’t score if you don’t shoot.

I hate the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins. My favorite sport is hockey and my favorite player of all-time is Wayne Gretzky. Sometimes I yell at my TV, even if it seems silly. I’m interested in politics and history, and aspire to be a Canada Customs and Immigration Officer in the very near future. I’m young enough to have fun and old enough to know better.

DJ Daddio is an interplanetary DJ that broadcasts to planets from coast to coast across this vast universe.he has decided to use cidi 99.1 FM in Knowlton for his home base on planet Earth. DJ Daddio has travelled this planet collecting and researching great music.

He found that earthlings are actually made of music, when they talk, cry , laugh , or just run down the street they make music. He found that music and love were the gifts given to this planet from the creators of this universe , only to be used by the pure of heart. Unfortunately greed , money and war were thrown into the package to keep the weak occupied. There is a prophecy on planet Daddio his home , that states music and love will one day rid the planet of everything but a harmonic state of kindness…. so hang in, hang on and hang out with DJ Daddio as he plays the songs that will hypnotise his hush puppies.
